Welcome to Hastiin Tutoring. My name is Doug Norton and I am a member of the Navajo Nation. I was raised on the Navajo Nation and I currently reside in Mesa, Arizona.
I am a Certified Teacher in the state of Arizona. I have over fifteen years of teaching experience that ranged from 8th grade to college. I have taught Prealgebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Honors Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Brief Calculus and Statistics.
I have also been making and playing the Native American flute for the past 20 years. I do not play professionally but I have been making and selling flutes in various Indian Markets in the Southwest.
I am interested in sharing my knowledge of mathematics and the Native American flute with those interested in learning more for educational and personal benefits.
